316082-anupam-kher-in-a-wednesday-directors-nextOn the verge of retiring as Commissioner of Police, Prakash Rathod (Anupam Kher), gets a telephone call. The voice on the line claims that he has placed several bombs all over Mumbai and demands the release of four terrorists with Al Qaeda and Lashkar links. Prakash is warned that if the caller’s demands are not carried out, the bombs will explode – and one of them has been placed directly opposite the Commissioner’s Colaba office. Prakash and the state’s Chief Minister are faced with a stark choice: to adhere to the stranger’s demands or face causing the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent civilians. (Courtesy of UTV)
