It was a long journey but well worth the effort. After lying fallow for four years BTM blossomed back into life with screenings and events across Bradford. Opening night took place at the National Media Museum with a busy gathering of fans, a special preview of Krrish 3 and the presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award to Guest of Honour (and BTM patron) Samina Peerzada. Throughout the week BTM screened classics ArthBolThe Big City), rarely-seen gems (The Message), documentaries and hosted an education event about superheroes in movies. We are grateful for the support of all our partners and collaborators – Cineworld, Bradford City of Film, City of Bradford MDC, Midland Hotel, My Lahore, Kenyon Fraser, Kala Sangam and the National Media Museum – and look forward to more BTM programming in 2014. Check out the official BTM Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/beyondthemangoreel/
